for posts once a month

vegan pumpkin pie
filling up my stomach like
my beautiful friend

late night's chasing bats
from inside apartment walls
my friend's home is saved

with jalapeño
chocolate is a better
aphrodisiac

music goes so slow
slow, slow, slow as you can go.
thats how i like it

a little music
and dull days becomes vibrant
in an empty nest

phone shows a voicemail
I dial in the system
ghost in the machine

mornings are easy
when followed by sleepless nights
nap time to follow

inside my dream space
conversations are cut off
i wake up too soon.

invisible friend.
Totoro haunts my basement.
a stuffed plushy toy.

if you can read this
you need to respect my space
and my privacy.

some nights as i sit
the walls seem to come alive.
